Welcome to the Big Experience, festival organized by Big South in Candeleda, at the foot of Sierra de Gredos, which on the occasion of its VIII Edition concentrates in one week one of the best experience a person may have in communion with nature, people and swing!
It’s a super cozy swing camp, with around 120 people for edition. We pay special attention to quality and much affection into details. 🙂

Lindy Hop dancers (Swing dancers), Hector and Sonia work constantly on the development of the couple dancing. Lindy Hop is the dance in which they can openly evolve all techniques that they have learned through all their life. Argentinian tango, latin rhythms, classical dance and contemporary dance are important disciplines that take part in their learning of the dance.
Couple dancing is a language that they treat carefully, developing new ways of expression with respect and dedication. They critique certain attitudes that may disrespect whichever role in the couple dance and so, they are open to new enrichment expressions of their personal way to understand couple dancing.
Lindy Hop is the dance where one can achieve continuous development. Swing is attractive. Jazz culture inspires and serves as the engine for Hector and Sonia on their constant learning process.

Mimmi & Fredrik comes from Stockholm, Sweden and are very active in the social dance scene there. Since 2012 they have been members of the famous dance performance troupe Harlem Hot Shots.
Between rehearsals and regular teaching at Chicago Swing dance Studio, they travel to perform and teach around the world, including Australia, Korea, US, Brazil, Singapore, Mozambique, China and around Europe.
Fredrik & Mimmi are known for their authentic solo jazz movements. In their teaching they aim to keep and spread the style of the swing era. They bring much fun, energy and inspiration in their classes.
They get inspired by the old movies and they love the raw style of the Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers.
